2019 Spring Muscial - The Addams Family

San Rafael High School’s production of The Addams Family musical takes zaniness and comedic entertainment to a new level in this deathly delightful musical. In the Addams household, “normal” is strange and strange is “normal.” When Wednesday Addams falls in love with a typical boy from Ohio, and both families meet each other, it turns out that “normal” and “strange” just might be interchangeable, but core family values still apply to both households. Catchy tunes and lively dancing will engage audiences at:

Is He Dead? A New farce by MARK TWAIN, adapted by David Ives. The story is of Millet, a brilliant but impoverished painter; no one will pay good money for his paintings while he’s still alive. When his friends persuade him that the secret to success lies in convincing the world he’s dead, Millet hatches a scheme which could make him rich, famous, and able to marry the girl of his dreams—if only he didn’t have to be a corpse to do it!

2016 Fall Play: SHE KILLS MONSTERS


SHE KILLS MONSTERS - a lively action-packed anti-bullying play which travels back and forth from reality to fantasy as a sister discovers her deceased sibling through acting out her Dungeons and Dragons module.  Our twenty cast members are having a lot of fun discovering the fantasy and real-life monsters and learning how to fight them.

Theater Arts Program

An appreciation of the arts is an essential element in the development of an appreciation of life.  The creative thinking skills learned in the arts are necessary complements to purely cognitive thinking.  The visual performing arts are disciplines that foster students’ abilities to create, experience, analyze, and reorganize, thereby encouraging intuitive and emotional, as well as verbal, response.
