Beware of Financial Aid Scams
BE AWARE OF FINANCIAL AID SCAMS—Each year families receive professional looking invitations to attend informational meetings which explain that for some cost, you can receive financial aid counseling. All financial aid information is available and free online and at school. Additionally, make sure you go to www.fafsa.gov, not www.fafsa.com to fill out the FAFSA.
