The SR Class of 2018 Alumni Panel will share their first-year college experiences on Thursday, March 28TH at 10:00am in the CCC. SR grads now attending UC Santa Barbara, UC Merced, Cal State East Bay, Cal Poly, University of Oregon, SRJC and COM will tell you what to expect and will answer all your questions. Juniors and seniors, sign up in advance in the CCC - space is limited to 35.

College of Marin counselors will be meeting with seniors who plan to attend in the fall on Tuesday, March 26 during 1st period, Advisory and 2nd period. To make sure you are on a list, please check in with Ms. Mazariegos in the CCC today or Monday.

All Faculty, Staff, and Administration - Poisson [pwahSSOHN] d'Avril [dahVREEL], the French version of April Fool's Day, will be celebrated on Monday, April 1st. Get ready to be fished!! 

The Addams Familymusical takes zaniness and comedic entertainment to a new level in this deathly delightful musical. In the Addams household, “normal” is strange and strange is “normal.”  Join the fun in the Hayes Theatre - March 28th, 29th, and 30th at 7:30; March 31st at 2:00pm. Tickets at the door: $15 adults; $10 students/senior citizens.

Calling all Talent Show Participants: It's time to brush up your act! The show is coming soon: Thursday, April 4th at 7:30pm. We are still accepting acts, so see Ms. Deamer or Mr. Castle to join the fun.

ATTENTION WORLD TRAVELERS:  Go Dawg Go will be traveling to Asia during February Break of 2020.  Explore Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam with your classmates and make memories to last a lifetime.  Want to learn more?  See Madame Truett for more details. 

Calling all Eco-Adventurers!  Come with us to Costa Rica next February. We will explore waterfalls, volcanoes, and the rainforest, see monkeys, sloths, and tropical fish in their natural habitat, while practicing your Spanish and learning about biodiversity and sustainability. THE WEIGHT ROOM will be open at 6 am each morning for students or staff who would like to get their workout in early.

The 28th Annual Rising Stars high school show is going on until the end of March at Youth in Arts. All high schools in Marin County showcase student work. Come support your fellow SRHS friends!

REMINDER TO SENIORS:  If you have schools that require mid-year reports and transcripts you must come to the counseling office to complete the “Transcript Request” form.


Need help in science? Science tutoring is available after school in Room SC106 every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. All subjects and questions welcome!

NEED A QUIET PLACE to get your HW done or study for your upcoming test? The Library is now open until 5pm on every Monday thru Thursday! All students are welcome to stay and quietly work on their homework!

ONE-ON-ONE PEER Tutoring is available during advisory and your free periods.

MATH teachers available before school and after school, Monday through Thursday in the library.

ENGLISH TUTORING - Mr. Bond and Ms. Hager offer reading room and homework tutorial in LA303 and LA304 Monday through Thursday for one hour, immediately after the bell.

FRENCH and SPANISH tutoring is available daily from 7 – 7:45 am in AD 315.

San Rafael Federation of Teachers Scholarship

Seniors interested in going into the teaching profession after college are eligible for a $250 scholarship from the teachers at San Rafael High School.  You must submit a 500-word essay explaining why you want to be a teacher to Mr. Winton in LA 217 by Monday, April 15th to be eligible to win.  Please see Mr. Winton if you have any questions.

SENIORS, now that most of college applications deadlines have passed, please make sure to stop by the CCC to learn more about scholarships or simply check out the scholarship bulletin outside the CCC. If you haven't already done so, activate your portals from the schools that you have applied to. If you have any questions, please stop by to see Ms. Mazariegos.
