The Spring Dawg Pride Day will be held this Saturday April 27th.  There are two sessions that students can attend, 8AM or 1PM.  Each session runs 4 hours.  Food and drinks will be provided.  Community Service Hours are available to all students who attend.  This is a fun day where you can help make SR High School look great.  There is a sign-up sheet in the Principal's Office. We hope you can make it. Go Dawgs!

ART CONTEST commissioned by Bahia Vista elementary school. They are in need of a Dragon Mascot drawing for their school. All submissions are due to Mrs. Yi by FRIDAY, April 26th in AR207. Cash Prize of $250. Good luck artists! See Mrs. Yi for details and paper.

HEY DAWGS! We will be having a student vs staff soccer game on May 3rd at lunch. There will be sign-ups at lunch on the senior steps on Friday, April 26th. Make sure to sign up quick because we only have a couple of spots for students!

SENIOR BROADCAST – If you would like to participate in the broadcast piece for senior’s plans after high school, there is a sign-up sheet in the main office.

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Senior Surveys will take place in your history/econ/Gov classes on May 6th and 7th, so please be sure you are attending class.  If you are AP testing, no worries, we will have make up sessions.  Any questions please see Ms. Pipkin in the counseling office.

MARK your calendars! On Thursday, May 2nd we have Kona Shaved Ice coming to San Rafael High. Come stop by after school to get some shaved ice!

Calling all artists for the Agenda Cover contest – we are accepting art submissions for the 2019-2020 agenda art cover. Any 2 D submissions or digital accepted. Come get a form from Mrs. Yi in AR207 or the main office. Due by May 3rd, looking forward to amazing art!

ATTENTION WORLD TRAVELERS:  Go Dawg Go will be traveling to Asia during February Break of 2020.  Explore Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam with your classmates and make memories to last a lifetime.  Want to learn more?  See Madame Truett for more details. 

Calling all Eco-Adventurers!  Come with us to Costa Rica next February. We will explore waterfalls, volcanoes, and the rainforest, see monkeys, sloths, and tropical fish in their natural habitat, while practicing your Spanish and learning about biodiversity and sustainability. See Mr. Morales or Ms. Pikk for more details.

THE WEIGHT ROOM will be open at 6 am each morning for students or staff who would like to get their workout in early.


Need help in science? Science tutoring is available after school in Room SC106 every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. All subjects and questions welcome!

NEED A QUIET PLACE to get your HW done or study for your upcoming test? The Library is now open until 5pm on every Monday thru Thursday! All students are welcome to stay and quietly work on their homework!

ONE-ON-ONE PEER Tutoring is available during advisory and your free periods.

MATH teachers available before school and after school, Monday through Thursday in the library.

ENLISH TUTORING - Mr. Bond and Ms. Hager offer reading room and homework tutorial in LA303 and LA304 Monday through Thursday for one hour, immediately after the bell.

FRENCH and SPANISH tutoring is available daily from 7 – 7:45 am in AD 315.


SUMMER INTERNSHIP APPLICATIONS are now in the CCC. Please grab a red SRHS Internship flyer and go to the online application. Paper applications are available but Online applications are strongly preferred. Internships last 6 weeks long and require 10 hours per week. Internships Start June 17th and end July 26th. Earn up to 3 HS elective credits and 1.5 College of Marin Credits. Application deadline is May 3rd.This is a great opportunity to explore careers, gain professional experience and include this on your college applications and resumes.  Contact Ms. Nunez if you have any questions,

SENIORS, now that most of college applications deadlines have passed, please make sure to stop by the CCC to learn more about scholarships or simply check out the scholarship bulletin outside the CCC. If you haven't already done so, activate your portals from the schools that you have applied to. If you have any questions, please stop by to see Ms. Mazariegos. 

Students interested in Engineering, Automotive technologies, Road and Facility maintenance and Architecture we have a Job Shadow to the Marin County Public Works Department. The Job shadow takes place on May 22nd from 8am to 12pm. Please speak with Ms. Nunez if you are interested in seeing what the Public Works Department has to offer for possible careers in these areas. Deadline to submit permission slip is May 8th.

Seniors and juniors interested in working with puppies!! Guide dogs for the Blind is hosting a Job Shadow event and possibly hiring event for students interested in working with puppies and dogs in training to be Guide Dogs. During the Job Shadow you will experience career positions in Canine Welfare tech, Canine Neonatal (0-8 week old puppies) tech, and Canine training techs! Positions are also available for students interested in facilities and maintenance with Guide Dogs for the Blind. Turn in your Application to Ms. Nunez in the CCC by May 6th. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity.
