2011 TREE LOT FINAL TALLY!
Dear San Rafael HS Community,

A big congratulations to everyone who supported and worked at the 2011 Christmas Tree Lot. This was the biggest profit year on record for this important SRHS Fundraiser. You contributed 3,615 hours for a total of $54,831.70 for the student programs at SRHS!
The tree lot is a 20+ year tradition at SRHS, and we are fortunate for all of the work in all of the previous years by parents, students and members of the community. We look forward to your energy and ideas as we continue to improve this great program! YOU help build and sustain the community that is San Rafael High School. Next year, we will be recruiting for parents to help make the 2012 Christmas Tree Lot even more successful!
Thank you for all you do!
What Happens with the Funds Raised
Funds raised through the sale of trees, wreaths, and garland are divided between the classes, booster groups, and student clubs who volunteer at the lot.
The Classes (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior) use the funds to offset the cost of prom and Safe 'n Sober Grad Night, making these events affordable for all students in the class. Students participating in the music and drama programs have their hours credited toward music and drama trips; art boosters augments the art program; the various clubs and groups use the money to help with projects they are working on.
The San Rafael High School community greatly appreciates the support of Marin County residents in purchasing their holiday trees and greenery at the high school.
